Job Overview
At BAE Systems, we believe in making a big impact and fostering career growth. Join our nationwide Internship & Co-Op Program, LEAP, where you will Learn, Engage, Apply, and Progress. As a Summer Munitions Test Intern, you will have the opportunity to lead and participate in the planning and execution of munitions development and testing activities. This is a full-time summer position located at our Minneapolis, MN facility.
Compensation
Full-Time Salary Range: $43,326 - $58,490
Please note: Individual salaries are determined by various factors, including skills, education, and experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in the planning and execution of munitions development and testing activities
- Demonstrate strong leadership and self-starting abilities
- Meet aggressive deadlines without compromising quality or safety
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering Degree program
- Must have hands-on experience and proven performance in rapid prototype and development of mechanical design with an emphasis in energetic materials
- General knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Preferred experience in precision machine tool and fabrication, electrical/electronic assembly and maintenance, mechanical fabrication and assembly, vehicle and power equipment maintenance and repair
- Demonstrated ability to execute assigned tasks independently and with limited supervision
- Ability to successfully interface with other internal and external task-associated organizations or agencies
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance
