Job Overview

Compensation

  • Salary: $16.34 - $44.02 per hour
  • Pay scale & grade: GS 4 - 9

Responsibilities

  • Work under the guidance of senior engineers/scientists to support NASA mission operions in groundbreaking design, development, test and evaluion, and/or research work of aerospace technologies th align to your academic studies and interests.
  • Specific duties dependent upon the assigned occupional specialty in preparion for more difficult tasks as a professional trainee after graduion.
  • Disciplines include, but are not limited to: Aerospace Engineering, Astronomy, Astrophysics, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Earth Science, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Mhemics, Mechanical Engineering, Meteorology, Planetary Science, Physics, Physical Science, or Space Science.

Requirements

  • This position is open to U.S. citizens, nionals or those who owe allegiance to the U.S.
  • At the time you apply for this announcement, you must be a degree or certifice seeking student who is enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an accredited educional institution on least a half time basis as defined by the institution.
  • At the time you apply for this announcement, you must have a cumulive GPA of least 2.9 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).
