Job Overview
- Serve as a Manager in the Modernization & Installation Department of Naval Surface Warfare Center
- Responsible for providing overall insight into the development and management of business and engineering processes, policies, procedures, and operational schedules
- Plan, organize, manage, provide technical direction, personnel management, and allocate resources for site programs
Compensation
- Salary: $111,609 - $183,500 per year
- Pay scale & grade: ND 5
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative, operational, and business management support services for the effective and efficient execution of site business and engineering projects
- Make decisions on behalf of the Department Manager as they pertain to the operation of the department and influence related processes, guidance, and budget
- Interpret and implement policies, directives, and regulations
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program
- New employees to the Department of the Navy required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance
- Must complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report within 30 days of appointment
