Job Overview
- Serve as an Interdisciplinary Engineer/Architect in the Capital Improvements Business Line of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.
- Oversee design and construction projects to ensure facilities and infrastructure-related project scope, schedules, and budgets are managed within fiscal and regulatory expectations and constraints.
- Manage overall coordination for project validation and phased development to determine feasibility of proposed work.
- Evaluate contractor costs to verify design projects are completed at the most cost-efficient prices.
- Develop solutions to resolve project conflicts and disagreements revolving around scope, criteria, regulatory requirements, technical architect engineer problems, and areas of responsibility.
- Advise on solutions to problems encountered during the design and construction.
Compensation
- Salary: $93,858 - $122,016 per year
- Pay scale & grade: GS 12
