Legal Clerk (Phways Intern)

Job Location

Job Overview

Compensation

  • Salary: $64,957 - $84,441 per year
  • Pay scale & grade: GS 09

Responsibilities

  • Analyze legal issues, identify applicable legal sources, and determine the need for additional acts or investigations.
  • Review policies, procedures, regulations, and directives regarding programmatic and administrative matters of the Corporation.
  • Engage in research of pertinent laws, legal opinions, and precedents for cases and other legal matters.
  • Investigate facts, research issues, and draft memoranda on sensitive matters, outlining cases and explaining the application of legal principles, recommendations, and conclusions.
  • Work with senior attorneys in conducting investigations of alleged violations of laws, regulations, or policies in anticipation of litigation.
