Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Funding Coordinator for Veterans' Stair Lifts. In this role, you will be responsible for securing funding to provide much-needed stair lifts for our deserving veterans. Your primary responsibilities will include sending invoices and making arrangements for collecting the necessary funding to ensure the successful implementation of the stair lifts.

Compensation

  • $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to identify potential funding sources and develop strategies to secure funding for veterans' stair lifts.
  • Prepare and send invoices to funding organizations, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of funding sources, contacts, and relevant information.
  • Follow up with funding organizations to ensure timely collection of funds.
  • Assist in the development of grant proposals and funding applications.
  • Conduct research to identify new funding opportunities and stay updated on relevant funding trends and policies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information for funding applications and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of funding activities, including financial transactions and correspondence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, finance, nonprofit management) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in securing funding for nonprofit organizations or similar entities.
  • Strong knowledge of fundraising strategies and techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in using financial software and databases.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for supporting veterans and improving their quality of life.
