Job Overview
- This Psychologist position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program.
- Accepting applications from June 14, 2023 to September 28, 2023.
- Salary: $69,107 - $128,043 per year
- This is a full-time, permanent position.
- Some occasional travel may be required.
- Remote work is not available.
Compensation
- Salary: $69,107 - $128,043 per year
- Salary displayed is based on the "Rest of the US" pay scale and adjusted upon selection.
Responsibilities
- Provide Vet Center services to eligible individuals.
- Independently employ therapeutic modalities of individual, family, marriage, and group intervention to enhance the readjustment of Veterans, active duty Service members, and their families.
- Conduct intake screening and assessment, including risk assessment for self-harm and psychosocial functioning.
- Develop and update individualized readjustment counseling service plans.
- Implement individual, group, marriage, and/or family readjustment counseling.
- Conduct risk assessment and crisis intervention for individuals at intermediate to high risk.
- Work schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, with some evenings and weekends based on the needs of the Vet Center.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizen
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited program
- Full, current, and unrestricted license to practice psychology at the doctoral level
- Basic knowledge and ability to apply professional psychological treatments or assessment methods
- Demonstrated ability to provide professional advice and consultation in areas related to professional psychology and behavioral health
