Job Overview

  • This Psychologist position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program.
  • Accepting applications from June 14, 2023 to September 28, 2023.
  • Salary: $69,107 - $128,043 per year
  • This is a full-time, permanent position.
  • Some occasional travel may be required.
  • Remote work is not available.

Compensation

  • Salary: $69,107 - $128,043 per year
  • Salary displayed is based on the "Rest of the US" pay scale and adjusted upon selection.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Vet Center services to eligible individuals.
  • Independently employ therapeutic modalities of individual, family, marriage, and group intervention to enhance the readjustment of Veterans, active duty Service members, and their families.
  • Conduct intake screening and assessment, including risk assessment for self-harm and psychosocial functioning.
  • Develop and update individualized readjustment counseling service plans.
  • Implement individual, group, marriage, and/or family readjustment counseling.
  • Conduct risk assessment and crisis intervention for individuals at intermediate to high risk.
  • Work schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, with some evenings and weekends based on the needs of the Vet Center.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited program
  • Full, current, and unrestricted license to practice psychology at the doctoral level
  • Basic knowledge and ability to apply professional psychological treatments or assessment methods
  • Demonstrated ability to provide professional advice and consultation in areas related to professional psychology and behavioral health
