Job Overview
Compeer Financial is looking for collaborative, innovative, and dynamic interns to join our team. As an Intern Financial Reporting, you will provide financial accounting services to both internal and external clients. Your main focus will be on Compeer's patronage dividend process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Compensation
- This internship is a paid position.
- Please note that housing and transportation arrangements will need to be made by the intern.
- Business-related transportation and expenses will be covered by the organization.
Responsibilities
- Work with estates, transfers, retirements, outstanding checks, patronage agreements, unclaimed property, and general ledger balancing as appropriate.
- Assist with financial reporting processes and report preparation, including call reports, shareholder reports, and allowances.
- Provide excellent service to internal and external clients by addressing questions and resolving issues related to Compeer's patronage program.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an Accounting or Finance degree, with 1-2 years of experience.
- Strong working knowledge of computer applications, such as Excel, Word, and Access.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
