Job Overview

Gain knowledge and experience while assisting our team as a Mechanical Design Engineering Intern!

Compensation

This is an unpaid internship.

Responsibilities

  • Think logically and reasonably to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Learn basic principles of Mechanical Engineering/Design.
  • Assist with project research and preliminary designs and analysis.
  • Support preparation of final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
  • Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
  • Understand department needs and seek clarification when needed.
  • Work with AutoCAD program.
  • Compose Engineering documents regarding design and layouts.
  • Take measurements and create designs.
  • Adhere to and enforce safety, food safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices regulations.
  • Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Currently attending an accredited institution pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in using AutoCAD.
  • Valid Passport book or the ability to obtain one within 3 months of hire.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
