Job Overview

  • Temporary internship position to develop engineering work knowledge and abilities.
  • Opportunity to work with company executives and stakeholders to represent Native American interests in the utility industry.

  • Provide entry-level engineering support for small projects or as part of a larger project.
  • Perform tasks that may be somewhat repetitive in nature.
  • Offer basic engineering support to operational areas.
  • Interact with other associates and provide technical support.
  • Ensure safety and consistency of engineering results using company and industry standards.
  • Liaise between New Mexico tribal entities, company management, and governmental officials as support to the Tribal Government & Customer Engagement Director.
  • Assist Governmental Affairs Department with projects related to Native American culture and tribal issues.


  • Currently enrolled in a four-year bachelor's engineering degree program or working towards a graduate degree in engineering.
