Job Overview

We are looking for a Corporate Social Responsibility Intern to gain real-world social impact and sustainability experience through the support of administrative, communication, fundraising, and event tasks for our Corporate Social Responsibility program, including the ASM Global Acts Foundation. This is a remote opportunity, and the team is in the Eastern time zone, but applicants from all time zones will be considered.

  • Reports To: Director, Corporate Social Responsibility
  • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Responsibilities

  • Elevate and promote CSR activities through the support of marketing and communication needs - internal, external, social, and collateral
  • Input and analyze data and generate reports from our sustainability tracking system
  • Capture, catalog and communicate CSR and sustainability activities amongst venues
  • Research and analyze CSR and sustainability trends and competitive landscape - Bring new ideas to the team to help further drive our CSR goals & outreach
  • Handle day-to-day administrative items such as answering and filtering emails, assembling, and distributing documents and materials.
  • Collaborate with other functions including DEI, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and various venue Team Members on projects as assigned and to learn how all functions impact CSR
  • Deepen your understanding of key sustainability issues and understand how they apply in the context of global business
  • Provide weekly updates and recommendations to enhance our social responsibility efforts
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Applicants must be current college students and at least 18 years old; rising juniors or seniors preferred
  • Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated interest in corporate responsibility and sustainability
  • Highly motivated; a go-getter willing to go the extra mile
  • Seek to collaborate with others in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to deliver quality work that meets requirements and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive)
  • Comfortable learning new technology
  • Possess a team-first, positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently
  • Eager to be part of a growing and evolving team and organization
