Job Overview

Vista Community Clinic is a private, non-profit, multi-specialty outpatient clinic providing care in a comprehensive, high quality setting. We are seeking dedicated, motivated, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Community Health Interns. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the community and advance community health and hope.

Compensation

  • Pay Range: $15.50/hr

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of Vista Community Clinic's Tobacco Program
  • Research and develop culturally and community-specific materials
  • Conduct online research and data collection activities
  • Inventory, order, and stock tobacco control educational materials
  • Attend professional and community-based meetings
  • Enhance professional growth and development through trainings and workshops

Requirements

  • Interest in public policy, community or health education, community organizing or related field
  • Able to meet minimum hour requirements for desired internship
  • Self-starter with initiative and ability to work independently
  • Access to a personal computer with reliable Internet for remote work
  • Proficiency in Zoom and Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Valid California driver's license and vehicle insurance with reliable transportation
