Job Overview
The PJM Summer Intern Program will teach students the importance of the US Power Grid. This program is designed to build a fundamental understanding of the operation of the power grid from a real-time, system operations perspective, a thorough knowledge of how the wholesale markets operate, and a critical knowledge of the long-term infrastructure planning process, with specific emphasis on data governance, management, and usage.

Responsibilities
- Get hands-on experience working with Data Science, IT or Engineering to support one of the largest RTO/ISO companies.
- Receive exposure and support from current PJM Employees to learn & develop skills to apply educational experience to real work experience.
- Participate in a formal mentoring partnership and receive ongoing learning opportunities.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in BS degree in Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Operational Research, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent degree.
- 0 years of experience.
- GPA: 3.0 or higher out of 4.0 scale.
- Ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail.
- Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Ability to use mathematical and electrical theory.
- Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (MS-Word, MS-Excel, and MS-PowerPoint).
