Compensation

This is a paid internship opportunity available for current college students who are majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study. It is a temporary position working up to 40 hours per week and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain applications using current web technologies
  • Enhance and support select applications from the IT portfolio
  • Collaborate with team members and others in IT to ensure the delivery of quality solutions
  • Adhere to and apply standards into working code
  • Manage time effectively across assignments
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation
  • Assist in the training of users
  • Read trade publications, web sites, blogs, etc. to maintain and increase knowledge in core area of responsibility

Requirements

Skills (Required):

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor's or master's degree program
  • Experience with an object-oriented language
  • Exposure to frontend languages, libraries, and frameworks
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to successfully collaborate with technical peers and business partners
  • Ability to project a professional image for the company in person, via instant messaging, and over the telephone

Skills (Preferred):

  • Experience with C#
  • Experience with Javascript, ReactJS, or Angular
  • Understanding of SQL and database concepts
  • Experience in troubleshooting development issues
  • Knowledge of iterative project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Kanban)
