Job Overview
- Duration: January or early February 2024 to early Summer 2024 (if available)
- Full-time, in-person position based in the Washington DC office
Compensation

Responsibilities
- Gain breadth and depth of knowledge of policy issues facing Tesla, with a focus on EV charging, renewable energy generation, storage, permitting and electricity rates regulations.
- Analyze policy initiatives for their impacts on Tesla
- Support the development of new policy and business initiatives
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Currently a rising junior or senior pursuing an undergraduate degree in relevant field such as Political Science, Public Policy, Economics, Business, or related degree with a focus on energy, climate, and sustainability
- Direct experience with energy and/or environmental policy is preferred
- Direct experience working with legislators either at the local, state or federal level is preferred
- Minimum 6-month commitment
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Capable of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Capable of working remotely with high productivity
- Self-starting and solutions-oriented
- A strong team player passionate about transitioning the world to sustainable energy
