Job Overview

Hinkle Contracting Company, LLC, a CRH company, is seeking an Accounting and Finance Intern to join their team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work with a vertically integrated company and gain experience in various aspects of the business related to Accounting.


  • Highly competitive base pay


  • Work with company staff to determine solutions to common issues
  • Provide clerical support and assist staff with data entry, month-end closings, and reconciliations
  • Learn and assist with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance


  • Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times
  • Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required
  • Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary
  • Report to the assigned job site ready to begin work at the designated start time
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures
  • Strict adherence to Company policies and procedures
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required
  • Timely and regular attendance is an expectation of performance for all Company employees
  • Understanding knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Must have a strong desire to learn
