Job Overview

At Clearwater Paper's Cypress Bend facility, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the production of bleached paperboard and bleached Kraft pulp. As an intern, you will work on value-adding projects and gain a general knowledge of manufacturing. This position requires high attention to detail, strong organizational and analytical skills, and effective oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

As an intern at Clearwater Paper, your responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with Clearwater Paper engineers to learn the paper-making process from creation to distribution
  • Identifying areas of improvement through strategic projects
  • Collaborating with cross-functional leaders and team members

Requirements

To be successful in this position, we are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Majoring in Chemical Engineering with a 3.0+ overall GPA
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, leadership experience, and self-motivation
