Job Overview

As a Marketing Intern - Product Management at Generac Power Systems, you will gain valuable exposure and experience in various aspects of the marketing function and marketing communications. You will have the opportunity to implement and maintain national marketing programs, execute sales promotions, coordinate case studies, and contribute to project status updates. This role will provide you with insight into marketing programs that build awareness, drive demand, and ultimately grow sales. You will also develop skills in project management, dealer relationship development, program management, and marketing communications.

  • Participate in ideation meeting planning, preparation, and facilitation.
  • Conduct outbound calls to dealers and customers to secure approval for case study usage.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate projects and promotions.
  • Coordinate marketing project statuses and timelines.
  • Execute marketing tasks to enhance Generac brand awareness.
  • Perform other assigned duties.


  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or Communication field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of Social Media as a marketing tool.
  • Ability to work 15-20 hours during the school year and full-time during school breaks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective project management skills and attention to detail.
