Job Overview
As an Engineer Intern 1 - Engineer 5 in Bridge Design, you will be a part of our dedicated team working on designing and constructing bridges. This is a classified position with multiple vacancies available.
Compensation
- Engineer Intern 1: $2,115.20
- Engineer Intern 2: $2,263.20
- Engineer 3: $2,671.20
- Engineer 4: $2,952.00
- Engineer 5: $3,158.40
Please note that the maximum salary for the Engineer 5 position is $117,936. For detailed salary ranges and qualifications, please refer to the "Job Specifications" tab on the LA Careers website.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and constructing bridges
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project success
- Conduct research and analysis to support bridge design
- Prepare technical reports and documentation
Requirements
- Engineer Intern 1 or 2: Engineer Intern Certificate in the state of Louisiana
- Engineer 3, 4, or 5: Professional Engineer License in the state of Louisiana
- Applicants from other states with professional engineering licenses are welcome to apply, but must obtain a Louisiana license before appointment.
