Job Overview
- Holcim US offers an unparalleled range of innovative cement, aggregates, asphalt, concrete products, and construction services.
- This internship opportunity is a 10-week, paid internship beginning on May 28th, 2024.
- Gain knowledge about operating procedures, production/maintenance, and various products at one of our Aggregate sites.
- Understand various mechanical, maintenance, and production operations.
- Collate data, establish process correlations, and develop strategies for capital projects.
- Create a presentation at the end of your internship to executive leadership regarding what you have learned and contributed to the business.

- Gain knowledge about operating procedures, production/maintenance, and various products.
- Understand mechanical, maintenance, and production operations.
- Collate data, establish process correlations, and develop strategies for capital projects.
- Make a contribution that will have an impact on the business.
- Utilize various skill sets/knowledge to achieve team/company goals.
- Create a presentation for executive leadership.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program majoring in Mining Engineering or a similar field.
- Strong academic performance.
- Geographic flexibility.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
- Team-oriented and able to work with all levels of the organization.
- Willing to spend time out in the field getting to know the business first hand.
- Onsite role with an 8-hour shift, Monday - Friday (40 hours per week).
- Will work in an aggregate environment with exposure to moving mechanical equipment and outside weather conditions.
- Responsible for own transportation to and from worksite.
- May be required to travel for site tours, shadow experiences, or intern events.
