Job Overview

Compensation
- Salary Range: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Meet new business production goals and objectives
- Solicit for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources
- Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales
- Establish networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
- Follow underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements
- Stay updated on new products
- Prospect and generate new business through leads and referral sources
- Follow up on sales leads from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases
Requirements
- Genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful, and coachable
- Upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident, self-starter who works well independently
- Property & Casualty license preferred (training provided for good individuals)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Previous work experience in sales, marketing, promotions, or telemarketing
- Great listening and closing skills
