Compensation

Responsibilities

  • Research, model, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for semiconductor and related device manufacturing
  • Oversee definition, modeling, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development
  • Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation
  • Define module interfaces/formats for simulation
  • Lead the development of multidimensional designs involving complex integrated circuits
  • Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level designs to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop ASIC/layout design and address complex issues
  • Drive projects or processes of significant technical importance
  • Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics to resolve complex issues effectively

Requirements

  • Degree required: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 3 years of experience in job offered or closely related engineering role
  • Alternate combination of education and experience: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or closely related engineering role
  • Specific skills required:
    • Proficiency in Python, C, C++, Perl, TCL, or Shell
    • Experience in CMOS transistor design
    • Knowledge of object-oriented design, advanced algorithms, computer architecture, or multi-threading
    • Understanding of CPU architecture or GPU architecture
    • Familiarity with Linux or Windows internals
