Job Overview
Sorting Robotics Inc. is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of hardware and software for the legal cannabis industry. As part of our software team, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, gain valuable experience with cutting-edge technologies, and make a meaningful impact.
Compensation
- Annual Salary: $125,000 - $145,000 (DOE)
- Equity: 0.30% - 0.50% (DOE)
- Fun Company Perks: Company Paid lunches Monday-Friday, Fully Stocked Kitchen with Snacks and Drinks
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the software team to develop and implement code for hardware and software UI
- Contribute to the design and architecture of back-end systems
- Solve complex technical challenges with the support of a world-class team
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Strong communication skills
- Highly dedicated and results-oriented individual
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience using modern IDEs for code development and debugging
- Familiarity with git or other version control software
Preferred (but not required)
- Experience with Agile Scrum development process
- Knowledge of developing and/or testing in virtualized environments (e.g. AWS) or cloud environments (public/private)
