Job Overview

• Serve K-12 Cleveland Metropolitan School District students during the school day, in afterschool and summer programs at Partners for Student Success (P4SS).
• Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and civic engagement.
• Help build the next generation of leaders.
• Focus on STEAM, photography, sewing and crafts, and other educational and recreational activities.

Compensation

• Full-time (40 hours per week), 3/4 time (30 hours per week), and half time (20 hours per week) positions available.
• Living allowance ranges from $12,000 to $19,360 for 11 months of service.
• Living allowance paid twice a month.
• Education award equivalent to the maximum amount of the Pell Grant upon successful completion of service hours.
• Segal Education Award: up to $6,895 for full time, $4,826.50 for 3/4 time, and $3,447.50 for part-time members.
• Opportunity for training, professional development, networking, and attending conferences.

Responsibilities

• Serve K-12 students in Cleveland Metropolitan School District.
• Create an afterschool environment focused on academic skills, social and emotional wellness, and STEAM education.
• Work alongside a dedicated STEAM specialist and professional photographers.
• Engage students in virtual reality learning, 3D printers, and craft tools such as Circuit.
• Foster entrepreneurial skills and assist students in developing shared small businesses.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED, some college preferred
• Must be a US Citizen, National, or Legal Permanent Resident
• Must undergo and pass a criminal history background check
• Passion and perseverance for service
