Job Overview

At Northrop Grumman, we're dedicated to making history. We're seeking a well-qualified Associate Windows Systems Administrator to join our qualified and dynamic team of technical professionals. This position will be located in Linthicum, MD, and the selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time, at our campus.

Compensation

Salary Range: $60,900 USD - $91,300 USD

Responsibilities

  • Perform as a Windows Systems Administrator for a large classified government contract.
  • Maintain efficient operations of desktop computers.
  • Support multiple networks and ensure necessary IT administration tasks are completed under supervision as necessary.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone, via email, and/or in-person.
  • Provide answers to clients by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding clients through corrective steps.
  • Record events, problems, and their resolution in logs.
  • Report project status as required for all recurring and non-recurring efforts.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree with 2 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 0 years of experience; or a High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.
  • Must have a Current DoD Approved 8570 IAM Level I certification (i.e. Security+CE), or the ability to obtain the required certification within 6 months of hire date.
  • Must have the ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Must have current, and Active, DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility; the ability to maintain the required security clearance will be a condition of continued employment.
  • Must have the ability to obtain a polygraph within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the customer and/or program requirements; the ability to maintain the required polygraph will be a condition of continued employment.
