Job Overview

ARIS is an Elite Private Outpatient Orthopedic Sports Medicine clinic. We focus on fundamentals of functional anatomy and functional biomechanics to help patients regain or achieve the highest level of performance after an injury or surgery. We are seeking Physical Therapist Assistants who thrive in an educationally driven environment where we foster a functional teaching model. Our team consists of physical therapists and assistants or certified/licensed athletic trainers. We treat a variety of post-operative cases, both surgical and non-surgical, and prioritize problem-solving over symptom treatment. Manual therapy, instruction, correction, and coaching are integral parts of our treatment approach. We provide mentorship for new graduates to achieve the best outcomes.

Compensation

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists and certified/licensed athletic trainers in rehabilitating patients with dysfunctions, injuries, or surgeries.
• Provide manual therapy and manually resisted activities to improve mobility, flexibility, proprioception, and neuromuscular recruitment.
• Educate patients about anatomy, alignment, and functional biomechanics.
• Instruct and correct patients on correct positions, dynamic stabilization, and movement patterns.
• Foster skill-based progression from fundamental positions to simple and complex movement patterns.
• Utilize state-of-the-art gym equipment for assessments and treatments.

Requirements

• Degree/certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Knowledge and understanding of functional anatomy and functional biomechanics.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to educate, instruct, and coach patients effectively.
• Experience with manual therapy techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
