Job Overview

We are seeking passionate special educators to join the Premium Education family. As a special educator, you will play a crucial role in providing quality education to students with special needs.

Compensation

  • Pay: From $50.00 per hour
  • Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship
  • Schedule:
    • 4 hour shift
    • 8 hour shift
    • After school
    • Day shift
    • Monday to Friday
    • No nights
  • Ability to commute/relocate: Bronx, NY (Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work)

Responsibilities

  • Provide instruction and support to students with special needs
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Create and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Collaborate with other educators and professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to student growth and success
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

  • Masters in Special Education
  • Licensed by the state of NY
  • Pets cleared
  • Fingerprinted by the DOE
  • Experience:
    • Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
    • Special education: 1 year (Preferred)
  • License/Certification:
    • Teaching Certification (Preferred)
    • Special Education Certification (Preferred)
