Job Overview
- Conduct field inspections by visiting project sites, witnessing or performing flow tests
- Work closely with the construction team to address design changes due to field conditions
- Coordinate project design efforts with Drafters, Sales Team, and EOR
- Coordinate and address plan-check comments and permit processes with City
- Maintain and improve design quality assurance processes
- Log in and update accurate project information in company's operational software as trained and give accurate updates on assigned projects as needed
- Ability to work remotely (home office) as well as in the field as needed.
- Produce calculations, structural design, and detailing of different types of structures, including wood, steel, and reinforced concrete structures
Compensation
- Pay: $22.00 per hour
- Job Types: Part-time, Internship
- Benefits: Flexible schedule
- Schedule: 4-hour shift, Monday to Friday
- Ability to commute/relocate: Laguna Hills, CA 92653: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Responsibilities

Requirements
- A degree from an accredited school in the USA in civil or structural engineering.
- Experience with wood and steel buildings preferred.
- Experience working with Autocad, Revit, Enercalc, Risa, SAP, Safe, Etab.
- Bachelors in Civil, or structural from accredited school in USA structural engineering.
- Experience in the structural steel industry preferred
- 0-1+ year experience as a Project Engineer or similar role
