Job Overview
An established software company is seeking a professional developer to develop and support complex engineering applications in the petroleum industry. This role involves converting legacy code into modern platforms, adding new graphic technology for enhanced problem solution presentations, and developing new products to expand our product line.
Compensation
- Pay: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
- Benefits:
- Dental insurance
- Health insurance
- Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Work Location: Hybrid remote in Katy, TX 77494
Responsibilities
- Develop quality software within project timelines, collaborating with team members.
- Analyze and maintain existing software applications.
- Design highly scalable and testable code.
- Discover and fix programming bugs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Development experience with programming languages such as C++, C#, Fortran, etc.
- SQL database or relational database skills.
- GIT repository experience.
