Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Hamilton Township, NJ
Job Overview
A busy outpatient physical therapy practice in Hamilton Township, NJ, is seeking a full-time licensed PTA to work under the direct supervision of a PT. This position offers great pay and a pleasant work environment. Ideal candidates will have 2 or more years of experience in an outpatient therapy setting, either on a full-time or PRN basis. We are looking for a team player who can work independently while also meeting team goals.
Compensation
- Pay: $34.50 - $41.55 per hour
Responsibilities
- Assist the PT in providing physical therapy services to patients
- Follow treatment plans and instructions from the PT
- Monitor and record patient progress
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
Requirements
- Must be a licensed PTA in the state of NJ
- Experience in an outpatient therapy setting is preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients as needed
