Knape & Vogt, a global leader specializing in functional hardware, office and healthcare ergonomics and storage-related components, is looking for Seasonal Production Operators to join our industry-leading team!

Compensation

  • 1st shift (7:00am-3:30pm) $17.50/hr
  • 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:30am) $17.50/hr +$2.00 shift premium

Responsibilities

  • Loading, handing, and unloading parts
  • Conducting changeovers and setups as a team
  • Performing all quality functions and checks as required
  • Following all safety procedures and quality functions
  • Performing all shop order functions, packing instructions, and labeling requirements
  • Inspecting parts and machinery for errors
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • No previous manufacturing experience is required
  • Basic reading, writing, computer, and math skills
  • The physical demands described below must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, however, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions while performing the duties of this job. The employee is regularly required to stand, frequently required to walk; use hands to grip or handle; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift, push/pull and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
