Job Overview

Oliver Scholars, a nonprofit organization, is seeking an Admissions Intern to support the Assistant Director of Admissions. The intern will collaborate with team members, faculty, students, alums, administrators, and staff to aid in the preparation and execution of admissions initiatives.

Compensation

Stipend payment of $1,700

Responsibilities

  • Create marketing campaigns to boost program visibility
  • Assist in event planning
  • Prepare various communications, such as memos, emails, and reports
  • Collect necessary documentation from prospective families and students
  • Perform administrative data entry work
  • Analyze data from the prior admissions season and make recommendations
  • Conduct research on prospective schools and community-based partners
  • Write and edit documents, including letters, reports, and instructional materials

Requirements

  • Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Proficiency in oral and written Spanish
  • Full-time availability of 35 hours per week from June 27 to August 18
  • Ability to work in-person based on the office's hybrid schedule
