Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Event Planning and Marketing Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning, marketing, and implementation of two events per year in both Canada and the US. This is a part-time, contract, and internship position, providing an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in event management.
Compensation
- Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour

- Weekend availability
- Ability to commute/relocate:
- Phoenix, AZ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
- Experience required:
- Events management: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Work Location: Hybrid remote in Phoenix, AZ
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, marketing, and implementing two events per year in Canada and the US
- Utilize Constant Contact and GoDaddy web design tools
- Interact with attendees at the events
- Travel required to attend the events
Requirements
- Proficiency in Constant Contact and GoDaddy web design
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to travel for events
- Must have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Time management and multitasking abilities
- Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
