This position is responsible for providing Customs and Border Protection and Intelligence Enterprise (IE) with intelligence products to support strategic, operational, and tactical decision-making related to border security threats. As an Intelligence Analyst, you will analyze and evaluate information and intelligence critical to CBP's workforce. This impactful role starts at a salary of $112,015.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $145,617.00 (GS-13, Step 10) with potential for promotion to $145,617.00 (GS-13 Step 10).

"Responsibilities"

  • Reviewing and analyzing CBP border encounters based on understanding of terrorist travel trends and normal passenger flows.
  • Reviewing, researching, and analyzing matches to targeting programs from various sources.
  • Representing the organization in coordinating issues with law enforcement and intelligence community partners.
  • Collecting and analyzing intelligence data from various sources to develop trends, patterns, profiles, estimates, and studies.
  • Preparing preliminary and finished intelligence products and disseminating them to appropriate officials.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered with Selective Service.
  • Must have primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years.
  • Must pass a background investigation.
  • CBP follows the DHS
