Job Overview

At Entegris, we are offering an exceptional co-op experience for eager and talented students. As a global leader in contamination control and specialty material handling for the semiconductor industry, we are looking for a motivated intern to work in our Metrology Lab. You will have the opportunity to perform analytical tests using cutting-edge metrology tools such as Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM), Confocal 3D Laser Microscopes, and Atomic Force Microscopes. Responsibilities

• Perform and present analytical test results to Senior Scientists and Engineers in the Metrology Team
• Become proficient in advanced analytical tools including Atomic Force Microscopes, Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM), Confocal 3D Laser Microscopes, Liquid particle counters, DLS, and Zeta Potential
• Develop and iterate upon test methodologies
• Discuss test results and provide suggestions for future project development
• Routine analytical service: Help analyze samples from other teams

Requirements

• Open-minded and eager to learn new techniques
• Able to adeptly analyze and organize data
• Knowledgeable in analytical or organic chemistry
• Lab experiences: basic organic or analytical lab training
• Desired Major/Grad Date: Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering
• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program with a graduation date of December 2023 or later. Minimum GPA 3.0
