Job Overview

  • Passionate about mentoring and providing students with programming education in a hands-on and engaging role
  • Guide students through the process of making games, inspiring and engaging them in the world of game design
  • Teach a group of 10-20 students after school, catering to students of all abilities
  • Encourage creativity and innovation, inspiring students to explore the world of game design

Compensation

  • Job Types: Contract, Internship
  • Pay: $23.00 - $43.00 per hour
  • Schedule: After school, Weekend availability

Responsibilities

  • Teach a group of 10-20 students after school in our program
  • Bring your own unique teaching style, ideas, and lesson plans to the classroom
  • Inspire students to explore the world of game design

Requirements

  • Technical background in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Education, App, Games or Robotics Development, or a strong interest in coding, games development, and robotics
  • Strong passion for mentoring and providing students with programming education
  • Experience working on game development projects, either independently or as part of a team, using software such as Unity, Unreal, Construct, Godot, or similar
  • Enthusiasm for honing your skills and exploring new areas within the realm of game development
  • Experience working with programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, C++, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Expertise in creating assets, characters, and environments for games using 3D modeling programs like Maya and Blender
  • Experience creating digital illustrations, concept art, or sprite assets for games is a great advantage
