McGrew Behavior Intervention Services (MBIS) is a leading agency that provides superior high-quality behavior support services to families and individuals with developmental disabilities, emotional disturbances, and/or other health impairments. We prioritize positive behavioral support interventions to assist individuals in reaching their full potential and promote inclusion in the least restrictive environments. We are looking for passionate and motivated team members to join us in making a difference!
Compensation
Hourly Range Based on Education & Experience: $18-$28
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 play-based instruction to clients using techniques and interventions from the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Work with individuals to decrease undesired behaviors through discrete trial training, natural environment teaching, prompting strategies, and behavior reduction interventions
- Implement lessons to improve communication, social, play, and self-help skills
- Travel to clients' home and/or school locations to provide services
- Collect onsite data
- Attend training and meetings as required
- Create lasting, positive change for children and their families
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Current CA driver's license
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- TB clearance
- COVID-19 vaccine
- Vehicle transportation
- Passion to help others and their families
- Physical requirements vary and are based on specific client assignments
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree: Psychology
- 2 years related experience
- Bilingual in Tagalog, Spanish, or other languages!
