- Join NFRPP, a network of individuals seeking credible and reliable information on public-policy issues.
- Assist the NFRPP administrator in running monthly online live lecture series.
- Gain valuable behind-the-scenes skills for managing a nonprofit presenting organization.
Compensation
- Unpaid internship with potential for training opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Create and edit MailChimp newsletters and event announcements.
- Handle the daily administrative needs of the president.
- Set up pre-event Zoom meetings and webinars.
- Create FB Event Post in Canva.
- Create event listings in Meetup.
- Conduct event marketing in online free event listings.
- Manage advertising and marketing activities on Twitter, FB, and Instagram.
- Send out after-event surveys.
- Submit after-event Zoom attendance reports to the president.
- Other tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Interest in non-profit management and public policy.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Proficient or quick learner in various software and technology systems.
- Additional training opportunities may be available in video-editing and website training.
