Job Overview
- Assist the Wet Etch & Cleans Applications Engineering team at Entegris in understanding the fundamental properties of membranes/technologies.
- Conduct literature review and research for the project, design a test plan, and analyze experimental data.
- Solve complex problems using a methodical approach and rational thinking.
- Work independently and collaboratively on projects to support future product development.

Responsibilities
- Conduct literature review and research for the project.
- Design a test plan and review it with your mentor.
- Collect, interpret, and review experimental data regularly with the team.
- Draw sound scientific conclusions based on data analysis.
- Use critical thinking and problem-solving to determine next steps for the project.
- Assist the Applications team in ongoing projects with testing and evaluation of membranes and products.
- Perform membrane level tests focusing on filtration/purification characteristics.
- Work safely with chemicals and laboratory equipment.
- Use Microsoft Excel to review and analyze large amounts of data.
Requirements
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent laboratory skills with a focus on safety.
- Quick learner in a fast-paced working environment.
- Experience handling chemicals, operating laboratory equipment, and working with acids, bases, and solvents.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or Chemistry.
- Graduation date of May 2024 or later.
