Job Overview

The New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans are seeking motivated individuals to join their Associate Program. This ten-month intern-level program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the business side of sports. As a participant in this program, you will work full-time hours in various departments, gaining valuable skills and knowledge. This position is based in New Orleans, LA and will run from July 10, 2023 - April 30, 2024.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, design, and build graphics and animation packages for in-arena video and LED presentation
  • Assist with headshots and open video creation for the Pelicans and Saints video production department
  • Update features and packages as necessary throughout the season
  • Stay up-to-date with trends and ideas within the motion graphics/animation industry
  • Collaborate with other departments to fulfill video production needs
  • Participate as a member of the Pelicans and Saints In-Arena Video Production team on game nights
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed

Requirements

  • College degree preferred (Motion Graphics, Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related majors)
  • Knowledge of and passion for basketball and football (not necessary but a plus)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
  • Proficiency in Cinema 4D (a plus)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
