Job Overview
Our company is hiring an enthusiastic Web Designer to design websites and mobile apps. You will be responsible for creating engaging, cross-browser compatible websites and mobile applications. Your goal will be to create beautiful user experiences through websites and mobile apps that are both easy to use and pleasing to the eye.
Compensation
Pay: $21.00 - $35.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Draw and design wireframes for websites to be integrated into the final design.
- Design layouts for web pages, landing pages, and banners.
- Create mockups using various graphic design software to present ideas to colleagues and clients.
- Create and manage multiple social media accounts to promote brand awareness.
- Develop, troubleshoot, and fix website bugs.
- Write HTML, CSS, JS code.
- Write SEO-friendly content in keywords that act as call-to-action (CTA) buttons.
- Create engaging content that drives visitors to a page.
- Design icons, emoticons, GIFs, banners, and other graphics using image editing software.
- Ensure timely delivery of content and check spelling and grammar.
- Guide the development process by editing and approving changes in content.
- Manage project scope by keeping developers on track with goals.
- Work within limited resources and tight deadlines.
Requirements
- Background in web design languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Strong portfolio of customer-focused designs.
- Familiarity with technologies like Photoshop and Illustrator.
