Bimbo Bakeries is seeking a confident and results-driven Data Analyst Co-Op to join their team. This is a paid opportunity for college students to gain valuable experience and participate in real-world projects. Mentors will guide students in various functional areas, such as engineering and operations, while earning college credits. The ideal candidate will provide analytical support to the Sales Technology Team and contribute towards optimizing performance opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Access relevant information, interpret results, and make recommendations to improve sales plan performance
  • Utilize data manipulation and analytical tools to create graphical reports for guiding market execution
  • Collaborate with Senior Customer Executives, Data visualization experts, and the DSDE Center of Excellence to create content for meetings and distribution nationwide
  • Support the development of standardized reporting templates and processes
  • Compile clear and concise reports by organizing information effectively
  • Supply sales data to Senior Customer Executive for direct presentation to the customer
  • Present findings internally and to external business partners
  • Measure and analyze business case inputs to uncover potential impacts and improve reporting processes
  • Collaborate with IT development and DSDE product teams to develop interface specifications for data integration
  • Analyze customer data for anomalies and guide data governance and reporting actions

  • Strong planning, organization, and project management skills
  • Thought leader who offers innovative solutions
  • Willingness to travel to customer and company locations (estimated 10% travel)
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
  • Technical capabilities in data manipulation and visualization tools preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, PowerBI, PowerApps Qlik, or similar systems is a plus
