Job Overview
- ENSCO, Inc. is seeking a Geophysical Data Analyst with direct experience in seismic, infrasonic, and hydroacoustic analysis of waveform data.
- Must have knowledge of seismo-acoustic waveform propagation and be able to apply it to conduct analysis of geophysical data.
- Familiarity with digital signal processing techniques and time series analysis expertise is required.
- ENSCO's National Security Solutions (NSS) Division develops software systems for geophysical and other data collection, processing, and analysis.

Responsibilities
- Conduct seismic, infrasonic, and hydroacoustic analysis of waveform data.
- Apply knowledge of seismo-acoustic waveform propagation to analyze geophysical data.
- Utilize digital signal processing techniques and expertise in time series analysis.
- Develop software systems for geophysical and other data collection, processing, and analysis.
Requirements
- BS degree in Geophysics, seismology, or equivalent in a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Demonstrated experience in seismo-acoustic waveform analysis and using seismo-acoustic analysis software.
- Detailed understanding of local, regional, and teleseismic seismic phases.
- Familiarity with digital signal processing including spectral analysis.
- Ability to interpret time series waveform data and distinguish signals from background noise.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience navigating within the Linux environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Active TS clearance.
