Job Overview

We are currently seeking volunteer interns to perform both in-person and remote tasks as needed. Proof of COVID vaccination is required for in-person work and documentation is requested during onboarding/credentialing. This unpaid/volunteer internship can be used for college credit where applicable. General Description: Located at the New York State Psychiatric Institute (NYSPI), GPEG is a multidisciplinary research group that utilizes various methods to understand child psychopathology and substance use.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit study participants
  • Conduct field-based, structured clinical interviews
  • Assist with other aspects of study support in ongoing projects

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to work with individuals from different backgrounds
  • Ability to handle confidential materials and sensitive information
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to conduct structured interviews in person
  • Initiative, flexibility, and resourcefulness in working on multiple projects
  • Proficiency in general computer skills
  • Bilingual Spanish students strongly encouraged to apply
  • Licensed drivers encouraged
