Piano and/or Other Musical Instrument Teacher

Job Overview

  • Provide in-person, private lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
  • Two positions available: one at a central location and the other traveling to students' homes
  • Contracted position with schedule/method flexibility
  • Opportunity to learn how to run a piano/music lesson business

Compensation

  • Hourly rate: $20.00 - $25.00 depending on qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide lessons to students with excellence and care
  • Coordinate lesson schedules with families via email or text
  • Track student progress using preferred method
  • Provide student-centered songs using Creative Bridges Studios piano sheet music library + publicly available songs
  • Ensure student preparation for recitals and events, sometimes performing with the student
  • Assist with recitals and events (often on weekends), including set-up and cleaning
  • Coordinate with leadership for accurate student billing
  • In-home applicants must have reliable transportation for consistent travel

Requirements

  • Experience teaching piano and/or other musical instruments
  • Ability to work with students of all ages and skill levels
  • Strong communication skills via email and text
  • Reliable means of transportation for in-home teaching
