Job Overview

CELINE, a fast-growing French and Leather-Goods Couture House under the LVMH group, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their Finance Team in New York City. As part of the FP&A team, the Financial Analyst VIE will support the USA and Canada business units, ensuring financial accuracy and assisting in the preparation of forecasts and monthly closings.

Responsibilities

The Financial Analyst VIE will be responsible for:

• Supporting monthly closing and ensuring accurate financial bookkeeping.
• Providing detailed analysis of variances between actual and budgeted results to the management team.
• Monitoring actual business results, budgets, trends, and forecasts.
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and trend analysis.
• Performing business and market analysis to identify risks and opportunities.
• Generating and analyzing financial data to recommend profitable business strategies.
• Preparing accurate reports and presentations on an ad hoc basis.
• Developing and maintaining effective relationships with other departments.
• Conducting cost analysis to identify optimization opportunities.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have:

• Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week).
• A recent graduate from an Undergraduate or Graduate program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• A solid understanding of accounting principles and accounting statements.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in other MS software.
• Good organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivation and results-oriented mindset.
• The ability to work both independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
• Fluency in spoken and written English. French-speaking skills are a plus.
