Job Overview

Bode is a Seattle-based vertically integrated multi-family development firm dedicated to providing affordable housing for everyone. With over 1,000 stabilized units under management, nearly 500 under construction, and about 1,500 in pre-development, Bode is expanding its Development Team.

Compensation

  • Pay: $41,145.28 - $167,706.70 per year

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate preconstruction and construction activities, including land acquisition, entitlements, design, permitting coordination, construction oversight, pro forma analysis, and reporting
  • Oversee all stages of development projects, from acquisition to permanent financing, to create and manage multifamily assets for the portfolio
  • Focus on the residential portfolio, including multifamily and land development projects under entitlement and construction
  • Coordinate with agencies and regulatory bodies for permitting and entitlements
  • Review and interpret project plans and specifications
  • Assist with the construction process, including coordination and correspondence
  • Develop project pro forma, feasibility, market analysis, and budget from underwriting through project stabilization
  • Coordinate specialized documents and presentations for municipalities, stakeholders, development and construction teams, property management, and management
  • Assist in preparing proposals, change orders, and consultant contracts
  • Participate in financing procurement
  • Execute project vision as provided by the development plan
  • Coordinate with in-house Property Management for efficient transition to operations
  • Schedule meetings, create agendas, and prepare and disseminate minutes/notes from development, consultant, and project team meetings
  • Serve as point of contact with the Development Team to facilitate inter-company communication and development project leads

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 0-3 years related work experience
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented individual with strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with familiarity and/or interest in real estate development
  • Resourceful problem solver with a strong commitment to accuracy in their own work and the work of others
