Job Overview

  • Company Overview
    • Nomura is a global financial services group with an integrated network spanning over 30 countries.
    • Nomura services the needs of individuals, institutions, corporates, and governments through its Retail, Wholesale, and Investment Management divisions.
  • Summer Analyst Program:
    • 10-week program with extensive contact with Nomura professionals at all levels.
    • Hands-on opportunity to participate as full members of the team.
    • Work closely with a buddy and a senior mentor.
    • Learn about Private Credit markets and various investment-oriented projects.
    • Gain exposure to emerging business lines such as co-investment, direct investments, and secondary investments.

Compensation

  • Salary Disclosure:
    • Set base salary of $100,000 per year.
    • At-will position - base salary and discretionary payments can be modified at any time.

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis on investment-oriented projects.
  • Learn about Private Credit markets and how an interval fund is managed.
  • Assist with various emerging business lines such as co-investment, direct investments, and secondary investments.

Requirements

  • Outstanding academic qualifications.
  • GPA: 3.5+.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (preferably Business, Economics, Finance, or STEM related field).
  • Graduating between December 2024 and June 2025.
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
