Job Location
Lansing, MI 48906 (Hybrid remote)
Job Overview
- Oversee the construction and rehabilitation of water storage tanks and industrial coating projects
- Assist engineer or Senior technician with facility evaluations
- Coordinate with Engineer and technical staff to ensure project administration goals and timetables are met
- Ability to read engineering plans and drawings
- Ability to work at heights and pass occupational testing regime for physical fitness
Compensation
- Pay: From $18.00 per hour
- Job Types: Full-time, Internship
Responsibilities
- Observe contractors and prepare daily technical reports
- Assist engineer or Senior technician with facility evaluations
- Coordinate with Engineer and technical staff to ensure project administration goals and timetables are met
Requirements
- Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Experience:
- Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
- Civil Engineering Technicians: 1 year (Preferred)
- License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)
- Willingness to travel: 75% (Required)
