Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. A successful candidate must have strong communication skills and an interest in the finance & real estate sectors. In this role, you will be responsible for creating financial models, analyzing data, and developing solutions to internal problems.

Compensation

  • Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
  • Benefits: Health insurance
  • Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay, Commission pay, Signing bonus, Tips

Responsibilities

  • Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
  • Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Monitors taxes that apply to property, ensuring that taxes are current, collected and/or accrued.
  • Compiles, codes, categorizes, calculates, tabulates, audits, or verifies information or data.
  • Reconciles balance sheet.
  • Supports the development of the annual operating budget for the firm and properties.
  • Ensures that the P&L is accurate (i.e., costs are properly matched to revenue, costs are recorded in the proper accounts) and statements are delivered per calendar.
  • Provides analytical support during budget reviews to identify cost-saving and productivity opportunities.
  • Ensures compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Demonstrates knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes.
  • Uses computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information.
  • Uses relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
  • Keeps up-to-date technically and applies new knowledge to your job.
  • Advises the CFO on existing and evolving operating/financial issues.
  • Leverages technology and effectively uses information systems and tools to generate financial reports and analytics support to drive decision-making.
  • Performs other duties assigned by the CFO.
  • Maintaining Finance and Accounting Goals
  • Submit reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines.
  • Supports the implementation of the property's annual business plan.
  • Reviews financial reports that are linked to the projects and firms' financial goals.
  • Supports a strong accounting & operational control environment to safeguard assets, improve operations and profitability, and manage business risks.

  • Experience: Accounting: 2 years (Preferred), Microsoft Excel: 2 years (Required)
  • Work Location: One location
  • Job Types: Full-time, Internship
  • Physical setting: Office
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, No nights, No weekends
  • Ability to commute/relocate: Las Vegas, NV 89107: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
